Helen is one of the Red Sea's leading dive guides and a safari cruise specialist.  Her love for diving was originally kindled in Egypt's warm waters and after years of extensively diving the colder waters of the UK, she relocated to Egypt.

Having completed over 1000 dives in Egypt and years of extensive local research, she has compiled a highly detailed knowledge of the dive sites of the region.  Now living in Hurghada, Helen works as an instructor and dive guide, and is an active author and conservationist.

Rik is a diving specialist and has spent many years serving his love of both reefs and wrecks as a professional dive guide and Instructor. His passion for diving has lead him to complete more than 1000 dives within the Red Sea alone, as well as diving in more than 30 countries worldwide.

An accomplished artist, his drawings of shipwrecks and reefs have gained international acclaim and a dedicated following within the diving community. Rik now lives in the UK, where he continues to feed his interest in diving and historical research.

Stella Evison

Stella is an acomplished and highly experienced Red Sea dive specialist, with over 2500 professional dives in the region as a dive guide and dive-guide instructor.

She joins the team as as technical reviewer, bringing her expertise and experience of the Red Sea to help ensure the quality and reliability of information in Travelling Diver guides is kept to the hightest standards.
